25 Oct 2021 UPDATE:

Despite the lifting of provincial capacity restrictions for indoor events as of today, EMSI will continue to limit the audience size to 325 (50% capacity) for the Baltimore Consort in December, and require masks to be worn at all times within the venue, for the comfort and safety of the musicians, volunteers, and audience.

All of us have missed the joy and fulfillment of live performances. We long for the musical communion between musicians and their audience, for which recorded concerts can be no substitute, and are happy to present our 37th season program. The recent months, though, with their uncertainties, have taught us all to remain open to changes of plans and changes of habits.

The security and confidence of everyone attending a concert, both public and performers, is our priority. Following public health orders and the recommendations of our health officer, we are limiting the audience to 325, which is half the capacity of our venue, and we will require everyone to (1) show their vaccine passport and photo ID at the entrance, (2) wear a mask at all times indoors, and (3) leave the venue immediately after the concert.

These are the present public health orders, but they may be updated before the dates of the concerts. Be assured that, for each concert, current public health requirements will be met or exceeded, and that exact details will be posted prior to each event.

In case live concerts need to be suspended or limited to smaller audiences, your tickets will easily be exchanged or refunded.
