EMSI has made the difficult decision to cancel January’s Quicksilver concert, in light of rapidly escalating covid transmission. The safety of our members, volunteers and patrons is our prime concern, and the Board of Directors could not feel confident in providing a safe space in which to properly enjoy this fantastic ensemble.
We are currently making arrangements to reschedule the concert in a future season. In the meantime, you can watch some of Quicksilver’s past performances here: Quicksilver Baroque Ensemble.
Flex Pass holders who have selected this concert may use their credit towards another event by sending a request to boxoffice@emsivictoria.ca. Single tickets are fully refundable, or may be transferred to another event, just let us know by email or phone: 250 882 5058. However, please do consider donating the price of your ticket to the Society, to support the continued presence of Early Music in Victoria, after the threat of covid has sufficiently reduced. If we do not hear from ticket holders by January 9th we’ll understand that you wish to donate your ticket to EMSI, and we’ll be very grateful for your support. Tax receipts will be issued for ticket donations, as for all other 2021 donations, in January.
