Due to the latest public health restrictions, we have unfortunately had to cancel the live presentation of The Dark Side of Vivaldi. However, EMSI is working to bring you this event as a virtual concert in the new year. Ticket holders should have been contacted, but please direct inquiries to the VCM Box Office at boxoffice@vcm.bc.ca if needed.

Join celebrated artists Chloe Kim (violin; Artistic Director of Victoria’s recent Music for the Pause), Jeanne Lamon (violin; Music Director Emerita of Tafelmusik), Christina Mahler (cello), and Christina Hutten (harpsichord) for “The Dark Side of Vivaldi”. Drama, tragedy, and haunting beauty – you’ll hear it all in this exclusive program of fiery Italian works.

This one hour program will be performed twice, at 4pm and 7pm, to small audiences to allow for physical distancing, and will be recorded for CBC’s In Concert and streaming service.
