Garden Concert: In the Trees

August 21 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Baroque music for two violins, recorder, bassoon, recorder and cello, performed in a beautiful garden.

Music by Boismortier, Marais, Corette, Handel and more.

 

Performers:

Elyssa Lefurgey-Smith, violin
Kerry Graham, bassoon and recorder
Martin Bonham, cello and viola da gamba

Sonata for Recorder in D Minor HWV367 – George Frideric Handel
Trio Sonata Op2 #3 HWV 388 – George Frideric Handel

 

The concert is free or by donation (suggested donation: $20), with all of the proceeds going to the musicians. Donate through CanadaHelps (specify Summer Garden Concerts) and get a tax receipt, or bring cash to the concert (no receipt).

When: Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, at 3pm

Where: Private garden in Oak Bay (directions will be provided on signing up for the concert)
