ParticipantI’ve been curious about something lately. Are Dating Site Ads actually working for anyone here? I keep seeing discussions about running ads for dating platforms, but I rarely see real people talking about their experience with them. So I thought I’d ask the community.
A while back, I tried promoting a small dating landing page just to see how things would go. At first, it sounded simple. Run some ads, get traffic, and let the conversions happen. But it didn’t really play out that smoothly. Either the traffic wasn’t that interested, or the sign-ups were way lower than I expected. It felt like I was missing something important in the process.
One thing I noticed is that dating traffic behaves differently compared to other niches. People scroll quickly, and if the ad doesn’t catch their attention in a second or two, they’re gone. I also realized that generic ad copy doesn’t work well. The ads that hinted at a specific type of connection or audience seemed to perform better.
Another small experiment I tried was adjusting the targeting and simplifying the landing page. Instead of adding too many details, I focused on one clear message and a simple sign-up step. That actually improved engagement a bit. It wasn’t perfect, but it definitely worked better than my first attempts.
From what I’ve seen, testing different ad angles seems to be the key. Some people respond to fun and casual messaging, while others prefer something that feels more serious or relationship-focused. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out what works.
So now I’m wondering how others here approach this. Are you testing multiple ad creatives, or focusing more on targeting? And have you noticed certain styles of ads working better for dating audiences?
Would be great to hear what’s working for others.
